Garage bay rental
Rent a car lift by the hour
You do not need to own a lift to use one. Book a bay, drive in, and the lift, air, power, lights and jack stands are ready. You bring the tools, the parts and the car.
What you get for the hour
- A lift (in the lift bays), or a flat floor bay with stands
- Compressed air and power at the bay
- Work lights, jack stands, a restroom and heat in cold weather
- A short safety walkthrough if you are new to lifts
Which lift
The 2-post lift lets the wheels hang free for brakes, suspension and axles. The 4-post drive-on is the easiest for oil changes and exhaust. The low scissor lift is quick for brakes and wheel work. The floor bay costs the least and suits plugs, filters and belts.
- Not sure which fits your job? Pick the repair in our guides and it tells you the best bay.
- Ask first before pulling an engine or transmission.
How booking works
Pick a bay and a time online. The minimum booking is two hours, and extra time is billed in steps after that, so book the long end of your estimate. A day rate and a weekend pass (Thursday to Sunday) are there for bigger jobs.
Parts and tools
Order your parts first, or use the job planner to build the list. There is an AutoZone nearby, and during business hours parts usually reach the shop in about 10 to 20 minutes, so a missing part does not end your day.
