Good for
- Brakes and rotors
- Tire swaps, rotations and wheel work
- Hubs and bearings
- Quick inspections
- Detailing and wheel cleaning at a comfortable height
Not the right bay for
- Jobs where you need to stand under the car. It is a low-rise lift. For exhaust and driveline work with room to stand, use the 2-post or the 4-post.
- Anything that needs the car high enough to roll a transmission jack under it.
Before you come
- Check your car's lift points before you arrive and bring a small stool or creeper.
- Pair it with the weekend pass if the job runs more than a day. The car can stay Thursday to Sunday.
- It shares a price with the 4-post lift, and we give you whichever drive-on bay is open.
Included with every bay: air and power, work lights, jack stands, a restroom and heat in cold weather. Bring your own hand tools, parts and fluids. How it works.
Questions about the low scissor lift
How high does the scissor lift go?
It is a low-rise lift, so it raises the car partway. It is made for brakes, wheels and tires, not for standing under the car.
Is it the same price as the 4-post lift?
Yes. Both are drive-on lifts at one price. You get whichever is open when you book.
Can I leave my car on it overnight?
Only on a weekend pass or a monthly bay. Otherwise the car leaves when your booking ends, and cars on site are at your own risk.
