Good for
- Tires and wheels with a jack and stands
- Engine bay work: belts, plugs, batteries, sensors and fluids
- Detailing and interior work
- Audio and electrical installs
- Projects that need a weekend: the weekend pass lets the car stay Thursday to Sunday
Not the right bay for
- Work that needs the car in the air. Jack stands are included, but a lift is easier and safer for big jobs.
- Welding, grinding, painting and body-filler work. Those are not allowed in any bay.
Before you come
- Bring a drop cloth or absorbent for fluids, and take your old parts and fluids with you or use the marked containers.
- Jack stands are included. Always support the car on stands before you go under it. A jack alone is never enough.
- For a job that needs the car up and the wheels off, the scissor lift often costs only a little more.
Included with every bay: air and power, work lights, jack stands, a restroom and heat in cold weather. Bring your own hand tools, parts and fluids. How it works.
