Who can rent a bay?
Anyone 18 or older with a photo ID. You sign a waiver once, and anyone helping you in the work area signs one too. Friends who just want to wait can stay in the customer area.
Do I need my own tools?
Bring your own hand tools. The lift, compressor and air hoses, jack stands, lighting and power are included with every bay.
Can I work on a friend's car, or do jobs for pay?
No. Bays are for working on your own vehicle, or one you have the owner's permission to work on. No work for pay and no repair or resale business out of the bay.
I have never used a lift. Is that a problem?
No. Before you use a lift for the first time, you get a short safety walkthrough. It is free and counts toward your first booking.
What if I run over my time?
Ask before your time is up and we will extend you if the bay is free. If you stay past your booking and it affects the next customer, overtime applies.
Can I change or cancel?
Yes. Cancel 24 hours or more ahead for a full refund or credit. Inside 24 hours, one hour of bay time is charged.
Can I leave my car overnight?
On a weekend pass (Thursday to Sunday) or a monthly bay, yes. Otherwise the car leaves when your booking ends. Cars left on site are at your own risk.
What about Monday to Wednesday?
Those days are by arrangement. Call us and we will set up a time.
Is the shop heated?
Yes, we provide heat in cold weather.
Can I use the tire machine or the A/C machine?
Not as a renter. Those are shop equipment. Ask us about having the shop do tire mounting or A/C work.
