You drive onto two runways and the whole car rises level. There are no arms to position, so this is the easiest lift to use the first time, and the best for jobs under the middle of the car.

Good for
- Oil and filter changes
- Exhaust work: mufflers, pipes and hangers
- Fluid services: transmission, differential and coolant drains
- Underbody inspection and cleaning
- Fuel lines, skid plates and anything on the underside that does not need the wheels off
Not the right bay for
- Brakes, wheel bearings and suspension. The wheels stay on the runways, so for wheel-off work pick the scissor lift or the 2-post.
- Vehicles that are wider or longer than the runways. Call before you book if you are unsure.
Before you come
- Drive on slowly and straight. Staff will show you the stops and the locks on your first visit.
- Set the parking brake and chock the wheels before you go underneath.
- The 4-post and the scissor lift share one price, so you get whichever drive-on bay is open.

Questions about the 4-post drive-on lift
Is the 4-post lift good for a first-timer?
Yes. You drive on, set the brake and raise it. There are no arms to line up under the car, which is where most first-timers get nervous on a 2-post.
Can I take the wheels off on the 4-post lift?
Not easily, because the wheels sit on the runways. For brakes, tires and suspension, book the scissor lift or the 2-post instead.
What if I want the scissor lift and not the 4-post?
Both are booked as a drive-on lift at the same price, and you get whichever is open. If you need a specific one, call us.
